My son has a penchant for comedy.
He is wildly fond of old-school SNL skits. Will Ferrell's More Cowbell, Kristen Wiig's Target Lady, Adam Sandler's Lunch Lady, and (special guest host) Jim Carrey's Life Guard... these all will send our little guy into an uproar.
And boy, does he ever have the best laugh! It starts with his little root beer-colored eyes, which become hyper-focused and begin to dilate. Next, his whole body tightens and contracts. Finally, he releases this huge, rumbling belly laugh. He bypasses the giggle and goes straight to guffaw. Our five year old doesn't heeheehee - he HARHARHAR's with Richter-Scale-registering thunderous chortles.
One of his favorite comedy segments aired on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert around three years ago: Will Ferrell, Exotic Animal Expert
Tank can take a joke. He can make a joke.
The only caveat: He has to be comfortable with you. If he doesn't know you, he won't say a word. He comes across as very quiet and reserved. But you better believe he's wracking up material for the car ride home. No one is safe from his observations.
However, once you get to know him, expect to hear many Blink-182 approved fart, poop and butt cheeks jokes fired off in your direction.
Anyway, not only did he choose this particular ornament for the tree-

He proceeded to place it here-

Right under the behind of our ornamental puppy.
Blergh.
